Murdoch University Lecturer, Carol Pinto will be taking the centre stage at the training session based on the book, Serial Innovators by Claudio Feser, CEO of McKinsey and Company. An engineer by qualification, Carol will be heading up the training sessions to an audience of business professional including some of the top CEO’s.

Currently teaching a range of business units including Strategic Marketing Management, Business Management and Services Marketing at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, Carol is an acute business minded professional and has gained a wealth of experience from the UAE and globally recognised brands. These include the Al Tayer Group, Emirates NBD, and Harvey Nichols.

Carol holds an MBA from Murdoch University and joined the faculty soon after graduating. She has always been involved in numerous business training initiatives, and hosting the training session with the author of such an inspirational title is a true tribute to Carol’s professionalism and intelligence. Respected and loved by all, Carol has established a very strong network at Murdoch University and has inspired many of her students and colleagues alike to take up challenging initiatives to develop sound business acumen. The training session to be hosted at Dubai Knowledge Village in October will centre around developments in the business world that require changes in their thinking. Carol will be presenting her findings and highlighting the changing trends in growing businesses. She will focus on the need to broaden horizons in order to adapt to such changes and hence allow businesses to flourish in a fast paced economic climate.

Carol’s session will be based on Claudio Feser’s research on behavioural economics, psychology, neuroscience, organisational science, network theory, sociology, and strategy. These findings have highlighted how firms have grown and developed a certain amount of rigidity which prevents them from adapting to change. A must attend event for business owners and stakeholder, this training session will certainly be adding value to today’s firms.
